Ring the bells that still can ring,
forget your perfect offering,
there's a crack in everything,

I've been browsing your blog for a couple of days, and all I can say is, if I were not already well over the hill I would like to be you guys and write like you when I grow up. I started blogging last Septeber (, set up by my daughter (, and I am gradually collecting blogs I like. Yours is at the top of my favorites. Thanks.

Hey, Anne! How kind of you! As you've probably noticed, posts at the Clothesline have been extremely random and irregular this year, so it's nothing short of amazing that you found us at all. So glad to have you on board! Thanks.

can you imagine Festivus in the Bush Household and the airing of the grievances of the past year? (I hated the fact that you destroyed the American economy, I hated how you were responsible for 100,000 civilian deaths, etc.)

Airing of the grievances in Chez Bush would indeed be something to see, HM! There is so much blame to go around there it would either result in poo flinging or utter, thin-lipped, patrician silence. With pearls.
